Joint replacement is one of the most common and successful operations in orthopaedic surgery.
Orthopedic physical therapy is a normal post-operative activity for hip replacements, knee replacements and other joint replacements. It consists of replacing painful, arthritic, worn or cancerous parts of the joint with artificial parts.
